An authentic, thrifted denim jacket featuring a classic structured collar and metallic button-front closure. The denim has been naturally faded and softened over time, providing a unique personality and character that brand-new garments lack.
PicSell Returns and Refunds
Last updated: October 2026
This policy applies to physical items bought from sellers on PicSell. Digital items are covered by the Digital Items and Downloads policy.
Who is responsible
The seller is responsible for returns, refunds and complaints. You buy from the seller and pay the seller directly, so the seller refunds you directly. PicSell does not take payments, so PicSell cannot refund you. PicSell helps only by passing on contact details and by acting against sellers who break these rules.
1. 14-day right to return
You can change your mind and return a physical item within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Every seller on PicSell must accept returns under this rule. This is in addition to your legal rights if an item is faulty or not as described. Your legal rights may depend on whether the seller is a business or a private person.
2. How to return an item
1. Tell the seller within 14 days of receiving the item. Use the messages you already have with the seller, and include your order or purchase details.
2. The seller confirms the return address.
3. Send the item back within 14 days of telling the seller. Keep your proof of postage.
Items must be returned in the condition you received them. You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to check the item.
3. Return shipping cost
You pay the cost of sending the item back, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described in the listing. In that case the seller pays.
4. Items that are faulty, damaged or not as described
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or different from its listing (for example a different condition, size or colour), contact the seller within 14 days of receiving it, with photos if you can. You are entitled to a refund, and a replacement where one is available.
5. Refunds
The seller must answer every refund request within 14 days.
Once the seller receives the returned item, or you show proof that you sent it, the seller issues the refund.
The seller refunds you using the same method you used to pay, unless you agree another one.
Delivery costs you paid are refunded when you return the whole order under the 14-day right. Extra costs for a faster delivery option than the standard one are not refunded.
Your bank or payment provider may take several days to show the refund.
6. Items that cannot be returned
The 14-day right does not apply to items made to your personal specification, sealed items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened, or items that spoil quickly. Your rights for faulty or misdescribed items always remain.
7. If the seller does not respond
Contact PicSell using the contact details published on the website and send us your messages and proof of payment. We can pass your message and contact details to the seller, and we may remove or suspend sellers who do not meet this policy. We cannot refund you ourselves or force a seller to refund you. If you paid by a method with buyer protection, contact your payment provider or bank about a dispute, and keep your proof of purchase.
Buying from the seller: how it works
PicSell connects you with the seller. You buy and pay the seller directly, outside PicSell.
1. Use the contact form on the listing to tell the seller you want to buy. The seller receives your name, email address, phone number (only if you give it) and your message. The seller's email address is never shown on the website.
2. Agree the final price, delivery cost, delivery time and payment method with the seller, in writing.
3. Pay the seller directly. PicSell does not take, hold or refund payments, does not ship items and does not handle returns.
Protect yourself:
pay by a method that lets you dispute a payment or gives buyer protection, where one is available
be careful with payments that are hard to reverse, such as cash, bank transfers to people you do not know, gift cards or crypto currency
ask for a receipt or invoice, and keep the messages, payment confirmation, tracking details and photos of the item
Returns, refunds and complaints are the seller's responsibility. Read the Returns and Refunds section below. PicSell cannot refund you, so your protection is weaker than in a normal online shop checkout.
PicSell Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
PicSell, operated from Athens, Greece, is the controller of the personal data we collect through the website, described below. When a seller receives your details to answer your enquiry, that seller is responsible for how they use them. To contact us about your data, use the contact details published on the PicSell website.
2. What we collect
Contact details: your name and email address, and your phone number if you give it.
Enquiries: the messages you send to sellers through the website and the item they are about.
Seller account data: seller name, email, subscription details and the content sellers upload, such as photos and descriptions.
Technical data: device and browser information, and cookies, as set out in the site's cookie banner.
PicSell does not process buyer payments for items. We do not see or store the card or bank details you use to pay a seller. Seller subscription payments are handled by a third-party payment provider, and we receive confirmation of payment and limited details only.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
To pass your enquiry to the seller you contact (steps you request before a sale, and legitimate interests).
To run seller subscriptions and listings (performance of a contract).
To keep records for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
To answer your questions, prevent fraud and resolve disputes (legitimate interests).
To send you marketing emails, only if you agree. You can withdraw consent at any time (consent).
4. Who we share it with
Sellers: when you contact a seller to buy, that seller receives your name, email address, phone number (if you gave it) and your message. A seller's email address is never published on the website.
Platform providers: Wix.com and its service providers host the website and provide email, subscription and security services.
Authorities: when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. What sellers do with your data
Sellers may use your details only to answer your enquiry and complete the sale, and to meet their own legal duties. Sellers are responsible for their own handling of your data, including any payment details, addresses and delivery information you give them outside PicSell. To use your rights over data a seller holds, contact the seller. You can also tell us and we will pass your request on.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and seller records for as long as needed to run the marketplace and to meet tax and accounting rules. Other data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
give you a copy of your data
correct data that is wrong
delete your data
limit or object to how we use it
move your data to another service
withdraw your consent at any time
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details published on the PicSell website. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online service can be completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
PicSell Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
PicSell is an online marketplace that connects sellers and buyers. Sellers list items with photos. Buyers contact the seller and buy from them directly. PicSell is operated from Athens, Greece. You can contact us using the contact details published on the PicSell website.
2. What PicSell does and does not do
PicSell provides the website where listings are shown and a way to send a message to a seller. PicSell is not the seller of any item. When you buy an item, your sale contract is only with the seller.
PicSell does not take, process, hold or refund payments. PicSell does not ship, inspect or store items, does not handle returns, and does not guarantee any listing, seller or payment. PicSell earns from seller subscriptions, not from sales.
We may remove listings or sellers that break these terms.
3. How buying works
1. Find an item and use the contact form on the listing to tell the seller you want to buy.
2. The seller receives your name, email address, phone number (only if you give it) and your message. The seller's email address is not shown to you on the website. The seller replies to you directly.
3. You and the seller agree the price, delivery cost, delivery time and payment method.
4. You pay the seller directly, outside PicSell. Your sale contract starts when you and the seller agree.
4. Paying safely
Because payment happens outside PicSell, PicSell cannot protect your payment or get your money back. Please:
agree the item, the final price, the delivery cost and the delivery time in writing before you pay
pay by a method that lets you dispute a payment or that gives buyer protection, where one is available
be careful with payments that are hard to reverse, such as cash, bank transfers to people you do not know, gift cards or crypto currency
ask for a receipt or invoice, and keep the messages, the payment confirmation, the tracking details and photos of the item when it arrives
be cautious if a seller asks you to hurry, to move the conversation to another app, or to pay in an unusual way
If something looks wrong, tell PicSell using the contact details on the website.
5. Sellers
Sellers pay a subscription to list items. Sellers are responsible for:
the accuracy and completeness of their listings, including descriptions, condition, size, price and photos
owning, or having permission to use, every photo and text they upload, and not infringing anyone else's rights
only selling items they are legally allowed to sell
agreeing the sale with the buyer, being paid, and giving a receipt or invoice
their own taxes, including VAT where it applies, and their own legal duties to buyers
dispatching items on time and packing them with care
honouring the PicSell Returns and Refunds policy, including refunds
answering buyer questions and complaints promptly
using a buyer's personal data only to answer the enquiry and complete the sale
PicSell may remove content or suspend a seller account that breaks these terms or the law. By uploading a photo, a seller allows PicSell to display it on the website and in promotion of the marketplace.
6. Buyers
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy on PicSell. Please read each listing carefully before you contact the seller. Listings show the price in euros. A sale is only agreed when you and the seller confirm it.
7. Contacting sellers and support
PicSell passes your message to the seller. For a problem with a seller or a complaint, contact PicSell using the contact details published on the website. We aim to reply within 3 working days. PicSell can pass on contact details and may remove or suspend a seller, but cannot decide a dispute, refund you or force a seller to act.
8. Delivery
Sellers dispatch physical items to the address you give them. The delivery cost and expected time are agreed with the seller before you pay. Digital items are covered by the PicSell Digital Items and Downloads policy.
9. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are the seller's responsibility and are covered by the PicSell Returns and Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use PicSell to sell illegal, counterfeit or unsafe items, post misleading listings, harass others, or to defraud or mislead buyers or sellers, for example by asking for payment for items you do not have.
11. Liability
We do our best to keep PicSell available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, PicSell is not responsible for a seller's items, listings, conduct or payment arrangements, or for any payment made outside PicSell. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on the website when you contact a seller applies to that purchase.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protection rights of the country where you live. Your legal rights may depend on whether the seller is a business or a private person. If we cannot resolve a complaint, EU consumers can use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
